Causes of Male Infertility

Production of a healthy and mature egg in male depends on many different factors. Sperm maturation with the egg could be a problem in some cases. The basis causes includes:

Sperm Disorder

Making and growing of sperm could be a big problem and one of the most common causes of male infertility. There are various issues related with the sperm like

1.Dismantling of the sperm

2. Immature sperm or half grown sperm

3. Low Sperm Count (Oligospermia)

4. No Production of Sperm at all (Azoospermia)

Young generation boys prefer living life as per their wish and consumption of toxic substances like alcohol, smoking certain medications and other activities would definitely cause an effect on the healthy sperm.

Reproductive systems when functions in an improper manner could also affect the production of healthy sperms. The sperm travel tube when blocked due to various reasons either due to a birth defect or infection, can also create problems.

Varicoceles

The enlargement of the veins in the scrotum is termed as Varicoceles. These are present in the infertile men. The drainage of the blood is blocked by the Varicoceles veins. From the belly the blood flows back into the scrotum due to the Varicoceles.

Immunologic Infertility

The antibodies into the body attack its own sperm and thus are results of defaults in the immune system. The normal movement of the sperms is hindered by the antibodies. This decreases the fertility of the sperms. The swimming of the sperm through the fallopian tube is affected with this.
