Uterine Fibroids

These are the benign tumors which are commonly known as non cancerous tumors which are seen in females when they are going through their reproductive age. And the result of these is bleeding which is prolonged.

Dysfunction Of Ovaries

During the menstrual cycle in some cases the ovaries fail to release an egg. Thus, the body does not produce the amount of progesterone hormone that is produced during a regular menstrual cycle. This results in hormonal imbalance and menorrhagia.

Adenomyosis

The glands of the endometrium get embedded in the muscles of the uterus in this condition. And in this condition the person might feel heavy bleeding along with heavy pain.

Ayurveda Treatment for Heavy Bleeding

This state of having heavy menstrual flow is not common at all and needs to be taken care of. There are successful and effective treatments of this mentioned in ayurveda.

This stage is termed as Asrigdara in ayurveda. Heavy bleeding is as per ayurveda has more reasons than the ones mentioned above, these includes:

* Not having enough food, let's say fasting.

* Doing sex on an excessive rate.

* Taking spicy food on a regular basis.

* Foods which are penetrating in nature like ginger when consumed.

* Undergoing heavy exercise and exertion.

Doshas which leads to heavy bleeding

The one dosha which is responsible for the periods is vata. The dosha which leads to heavy bleeding is the increase of vata which is fire.

Ayurveda Treatment for Heavy Menstrual Bleeding

In modern science when the bleeding is uncontrolled by pills and other treatments the last remedy which is recommended is Hysterectomy surgery (removal of uterus).
This is recommended even at a young age. With the help of ayurvedic treatment Hysterectomy surgery can be avoided and thus patients don’t have to undergo the surgery.
Ayurveda works on balancing the two dosha: Vata and Pitta. This balancing has to be done in a speedy manner so as to stop the heavy bleeding which might give birth to other possible causes.

The treatment procedure is divided into three parts:

* Providing the right diet and managing the lifestyle.

* Ayurvedic medication.

* For heavy periods the therapy of Panchakarma is adapted.

Providing the right diet and managing the lifestyle.

By using the right diet we ensure that the root cause of heavy bleeding is removed before using the medicines.

Ayurvedic medication.

This is a tricky procedure. Medication is also important along with lifestyle and diet. Once you complete the discussion of your problem with us then we will recommend the right medication.

Panchakarma

The two important and basic need for the whole procedure is :

You need to trust the process and not panic at all. The heavy or prolonged period must never be avoided.

Virechana (Detoxification):

In most of the cases females dealing with Uncontrolled Menstrual Bleeding have symptoms of acidity and other gastric problems which is the result of excessive pitta dosha. Virechana is performed to take out body impurities (excessive pitta) and toxins. This cleaning procedure is performed in the small intestine and in other parts of where pitta is present.

Basti:

As per ayurveda vata dosha plays an important role in causing gynecological disease. And basti is an ardha chikitsa for vata dosha. Basti is considered to be an effective method of Panchakarma by ayurveda when dealing with Uncontrolled Menstrual Bleeding. Basti chikitsa is found to be very effective for Uncontrolled Menstrual Bleeding for curing the infertility issue. In this procedure enema having herbal oil or decoction is released through Rectum and this increases the ovulation in females on a regular basis. Basti helps in regulating our hormonal access.

Yoni Pichu And Yoni Puran

Yoni Pichu is an Ayurvedic therapy designed especially for women and for treating various gynecological disorders. The treatment name is derived from the Sanskrit word Yoni meaning the genital part. The treatment involves procedures that cleanses the vaginal area using medicated oils.
This is the reason when in old age with “disturbances of the Vata” are prime- the condition of Dysfunctional Uterine Bleeding- appears as an emergency. This is an approach of Ayurveda Treatment for Heavy Bleeding.
There are cases where medication and diet change is not the only remedy which can cure the whole disorder and in such cases the Panchakarma therapy is adapted. Pachakarma works directly on balancing the vata and the pitta.
