Symptoms of blocked fallopian tubes

There are hardly any symptoms of blocked fallopian tubes. Women in the present day are not very much aware of it and might encounter it when they try to get pregnant.
In some women the mild pain in one side of the abdomen can be due to blocked fallopian tubes. This type of blockage is termed as hydrosalpinx.
The heavy and painful periods due to endometriosis can be one of the reasons for tubal blockage and symptoms as well.
Miscarriages and or recurrent abortions also leads to tubal blockage.

Tubal Blockage Effects On Fertility

One of the common causes of infertility is blocked fallopian tubes. The fallopian tubes are the place at which Sperm and an egg meet for fertilization and if the tube is blocked the joining of sperm and egg will be affected. And if the tubes are completely blocked it will become impossible for a woman to become pregnant. If the tubes are partially blocked the woman can get pregnant with an increased risk of ectopic pregnancy. The eggs might find it difficult to travel due to blockage in the fallopian tube. But if only one fallopian tube is blocked it might not result in infertility since the matured egg still has one tube to travel. And medication can lead to an increase in fertility from one side.

Causes of blocked fallopian tubes

There are various causes of blocked fallopian tubes like scar tissue or pelvic adhesions which are caused due to some of these: Fallopian tubes are usually blocked by scar tissue or pelvic adhesions. These can be caused by many factors, including:

PID (Pelvic inflammatory disease):

Infection in female reproductive organs is termed as Pelvic inflammatory disease. This infection is a result of travel of bacteria came into your body due to sexual transmition and is passed on to the uterus and fallopian tubes.

Endometriosis:

The unwanted tissue growth in various regions of the body similar to endometrium. These tissues cause irritation and inflammation. They prevent the eggs from going to the uterus.

Past ectopic pregnancy:

This causes medical emergency as in this case an egg may be able to be fertilized even after partial blockage of fallopian tube but it may get stuck in the tube, and surgery can also lead to ectopic pregnancy.

Fibroids:

One of the reasons for blocked fallopian tubes is fibroids. This affects the blood flow from the uterine cavity. This hinders the embryos’ growth and affects the uterine wall.

Surgery:

Past abdominal surgery can also lead to blockage in the fallopian tube. The abdominal surgery is risky as it might bind the scar tissues to the abdominal wall or to other organs.

D & C and abortion: Tubal Blockage could also be the result of D & C and abortion.

Genital tuberculosis: The morbidity and mortality due to tuberculosis (TB) is high worldwide, and the burden of disease among women is significant, especially in developing countries. It affects the female genital organs, especially the fallopian tubes, and thereby causes infertility.

Ayurvedic Therapies:

In modern medicines surgery is the only treatment available for tubal blockage which comes with no guarantee of the treatment being successful in the long run and thus the blockage could reoccur. But in ayurveda we work on the root cause of tubal blockages with the help of panchakarma, medicines and uttarbasti which works without surgery and thus there are no chances of recurrence. Ayurveda has predefined therapies for curing tubal blockage and works efficiently without any side effects:

Uttarbasti: In uttarbasti we insert kadha, ayurvedic oils and herbs inside the uterus. Uttarbasti is a specialized practice in ayurveda. Uttarbasti is an effective practice performed on women dealing with tubal blockage and it provides effects on the uterus and ovaries, it breaks down the blockage formed in the tubes more correctly and without any side effects as compared to oral medications. This practice is used in treating many different kinds of gynecological disorders.

Panchakarma: This therapy helps in eliminating the toxins from the body of the individual and thus has a wonderful effect.

Massage: The fertility massage with help of ayurvedic medication and herbal oils will help in unblocking the tubes.

Basti:This is one of the most common treatments of blocked fallopian tubes. The insertion of medicated oil through the urethra or vaginal root results in curing fallopian tubes.

Oral Medications:These help in removing blockages of tubes and increase movability of the tubes.

Ayurveda gives hope to most of the conditions that do not get treated by modern science. Though it's quite difficult to cure tubal blockage, ayurveda has made it possible, with elimination of disease from the root. Visit us and increase your chances of being pregnant.
